Position Postdoctoral Researcher at INAF-Osservatorio di Padova

Research Interests

The main topic of my research encompasses impact craters, where I focus on different aspects ranging from investigation of the impact event via numerical modelling (iSALE shock physics code) to planetary surface chronology via crater counting. My principal experience is with Mercury, but it also includes studies of the Moon, Earth, Mars, and asteroids. I am also strongly involved with the activities related to the STC/SIMBIOSYS camera onboard BepiColombo (define the scientific requirements, plan in-flight calibrations, and fulfil on-ground calibrations).
